  Online Games Used as Testbed for How Disease Spreads

  Scientists may soon use online games to study how a plague might spread. Apparently, they got the idea when Blizzard programmers introduced a simulated disease dubbed "Corrupted Blood" into the World of Warcraft environment and the disease started behaving much like real influenza or the plague would.

  Arm-Wrestling Game Recalled in Japan

  Atlus Co. is recalling 150 "Arm Spirit" arm wrestling machines from Japanese arcades after three players broke their arms trying to beat the machine's mechanized arm. A spokesperson said that it was just "a precaution" and that "some players get overexcited and twist their arms in an unnatural way."
