It’s not a big surprise that traditional marketing fails on social networks, but in case you need proof, Forrester Research has the study results. The conclusion? If companies want better ROI, they must embrace the interactive aspects fo the sites and realize:

“People no longer want ‘interruptive’ brand communications; they want interactions with their peers and true value from companies through Facebook applications or communities for sharing ideas and experiences.”
