Beat that Post-Lunch Dip with a 20 Minute Power Nap

08.20.07 | No Comments

How do you cope with that “post-lunch dip” in energy that makes you want to take a nap rather than get to work? According to the NY Times, you should take time for a 20 minute power nap, move around, drink coffee or another caffeinated drink, and find a sleep rhythm where you get up at the same time each morning (but that’s not earth shattering advice, now is it?)  At least they’re advocating for naps. Someone’s got to with our “always on” society.

They also advise that you save projects that require the greatest mental awareness for other times of the day because drowsiness can affect your performance.
