A PSP helped pave the way for a Tennessee kidnap victim to escape his captors. Jose Ignacio Ortega Garcia was kidnapped, beaten and tortured for 9 days by a pair of men who extorted $17,000 from him and forced him to call his wife and let her know he left her for another woman. Luckily for Garcia, one of his kidnappers was an avid gamer who played his PSP obsessively all day and much of the night. Exhausted, the gamer fell asleep giving Garcia his chance to escape.
