Fox News Changes Wikipedia Entries

08.15.07 | No Comments

Since Virgil Griffith recently launched his Wikipedia search tool, a number of people have been scouring the archives for interesting findings. The latest company in the spotlight is Fox News, which seems to change Wikipedia entries quite frequently. Articles that have been edited include “Keith Olbermann”, “Chris Wallace”, “Carl Cameron”, “Brit Hume”, “Shepard Smith”, “Al Franken”, “Brian Wilson”, “CNN”, and “Greta Van Susteren”.

While this bit of advice probably won’t be taken to heart by Fox News, companies that want to edit Wikipedia entries about them without causing a shakedown should check out SearchEngineLand’s Right Way To Fix Inaccurate Wikipedia Articles.
