Study Shows Kids Participate Regularly in Social Network Activities

Read/Write Web reports that the National School Boards Association (NSBA) released the results of a new study that shows 96% of students with online access use social networking technologies. Overall, teens/tweens that use social networking sites spend about 9 hours/week online compared to watching 10 hours of tv.

And they’re not simply passive consumers of content. 41% say they post messages online at least weekly. Here’s the breakdown.
