New Keyword Research Tool Incorporates Google Trends

08.14.07 | No Comments

Mike Stenhouse (from the British Britpack) and Mike Mindel (co-founder of Wordtracker) have created a cool new keyword research tool that combines WordTracker’s free keyword suggestion tool with Google Trends.

On Mindel’s blog, he walks you step by step through the process of finding a niche using the tool - which is pretty powerful and in line with Ed Dale’s suggestions for finding a niche in the Thirty Day Challenge.

Here’s what a good niche looks like - under 30,000 for competition in Google and above 100 searches a day - hence 2 green checks. If the criteria isn’t met, it gives you a red “x”.
