How To Stay Motivated and Keep the Creative Juices Flowing

Kevin Cornell writes on staying motivated and focused on a project. He offers some great tips depending upon whether you’re just starting the project or if you’ve reached the “maintenance” plateau and your initial motivation starts to wane. Some of his suggestions include:

  • Set goals
  • Stack the deck against failure
  • Have a place to be creative in
  • Put projects aside for awhile if you need to
  • Find the optimal time to be creative
